Nubadir is a volunteering platform for Kuwait, now in development. We started it because Kuwait has people ready to help and ideas worth supporting, and we are building it to connect them and make community volunteering easier to organise.

A check-in is accepted only from inside the initiative’s area, and the organiser reviews attendance before the hours are added to your profile.

Questions about volunteering with Nubadir
- How do I volunteer in Kuwait with Nubadir?
- Once the app launches, you sign up with your mobile number, browse volunteering initiatives near you and join the ones that suit you, then check in at the site on the day. The app is still in development, so join the waitlist and we will let you know when it launches.
- When will the Nubadir app launch?
- We have not announced a launch date yet. The app is in development and is not yet on the App Store or Google Play, and joining the waitlist does not reserve a place in any initiative.
- How are volunteer hours verified on Nubadir?
- You check in from inside the initiative’s area with a selfie that is used only for verification. The server checks your location, the organiser reviews the check-in, and once it is approved your hours are added to your profile as verified volunteer hours.
- Who can organise a volunteering initiative on Nubadir?
- Initiatives on Nubadir are run by an organisation: a volunteer team, a community group, a company or a government body. You create a page for your organisation in the app, publish the initiative with its time, place and the number of volunteers you need, and follow who joined and who turned up. More on the organisers page.
- Is there a fee to volunteer through Nubadir?
- No. There are no payments or donations in Nubadir today.
- How can our company support initiatives or employee volunteering?
- Email info@nubadir.com with your organisation’s name, the initiative or area you care about and the support you have in mind: materials and logistics, skills and employee volunteering, or sponsoring an initiative.
- Is Nubadir a government body?
- No. Nubadir is a Kuwaiti project run by its founders, Mahmoud AlBustan and Fahad AlHajeri, and is not part of any government body.
