فهد الهاجري Fahad AlHajeri

Fahad AlHajeri is from Kuwait City and studies Computer Engineering at the American University of the Middle East (AUM), graduating in May 2027. His work runs from embedded systems to interface design.

With his university's robotics club he built an autonomous robot on an Arduino platform for Robotex 2025; the team placed second and qualified for the Robotex World Championship. On the KFAS and Huawei Future Tech programme in Shenzhen he worked on NAJDA, a traffic-signal controller simulated over the real road network of downtown Kuwait City: it allocates green time by live queue length, and opens a green corridor for a dispatched ambulance before handing the road back. Fahad wrote the routing algorithms and the model for background traffic demand. The design is built around explicit safety limits, never a dark signal, a two-second all-red clearance before any change and a ninety-second cap on any hold, and it was validated across 78 signalised junctions by an automated comparison of priority on against priority off.

He came to Flutter through CODED's UniCODE development track, where his final project was a cross-platform personal finance app and where he learned interface design and application architecture together.

On Nubadir he leads the mobile app: the screens a volunteer actually sees, from finding an initiative to joining it to checking in at the site. He tests every screen with the same question: would someone opening this for the first time understand it, with no explanation, standing in the sun waiting for the work to start?
